Supports for Children

Growing up neurodivergent or disabled can sometimes mean feeling misunderstood, overwhelmed, or out of place in environments that weren’t designed with your brain or body in mind.
Children often express their thoughts, feelings, and experiences through creativity and play. Creative therapy provides a supportive way for children to explore emotions, build confidence, and develop skills and understanding of self that help them navigate the world around them.
Sessions may include art, creative expression, storytelling, or other gentle activities that allow children to communicate and process experiences in ways that feel natural for them. This can support emotional regulation, self-expression, identity development, and coping with challenges at home, school, or in relationships.
I work in a trauma-informed, neuro-affirming, accessible, and gender and sexuality affirming way, drawing on both professional qualifications and lived experience to support the child and the family. Sessions move at the child’s pace and focus on creating a space where they feel safe, understood, and able to be themselves.
Appointments are available face to face and online, with travel within the Canberra Region sometimes available.

Supports for Teens & Young Adults

Adolescence and early adulthood can be a time of significant change, identity exploration, and growing independence. For neurodivergent or disabled young people, this stage can also bring additional challenges around belonging, self-understanding, and navigating systems such as school, work, and relationships.
Creative therapy offers a supportive space to explore identity, emotions, boundaries, and life transitions. Sessions can help young people develop tools for emotional regulation, self-advocacy, communication, and navigating environments that may not always be designed with them in mind.
This is a space where masking can soften and authentic self-expression is encouraged. Support is collaborative and responsive to each person’s goals and needs.
My practice is trauma-informed, neuro-affirming, accessible, and gender and sexuality affirming, grounded in both professional knowledge and lived experience.

Supports for Adults
Many adults find that the standard therapeutic supports that they have tried just are not quite right for them. This could be due to exploring or receiving a diagnosis of neurodivergence later in life, trauma, or just needing something a little bit different. This can bring new understanding, as well as questions about identity, relationships, work, and wellbeing.
Creative therapy provides space to reflect on these experiences, reconnect with creativity and self-expression, and develop sustainable ways of living and working that align with your needs. Sessions may focus on burnout recovery, emotional processing, identity exploration, boundaries, or building tools that support your everyday life.
This is a space where you can explore your experiences without pressure to mask or change who you are. Instead, we focus on building self-understanding, capacity, and self-trust.
My work is trauma-informed, neuro-affirming, accessible, and gender and sexuality affirming, grounded in both professional training and lived experience.

Uncommon Leadership Supports
Leadership does not have to mean masking more, pushing harder, or fitting into narrow leadership models that were never designed with neurodivergent or disabled people in mind.
Uncommon Leadership is NOT:
-
business coaching;
-
short term motivation;
-
corporate alignment;
-
a one-size-fits all leadership or executive coaching program;
-
the right fit for everyone.
Uncommon Leadership Support is for people who want to lead, advocate, influence, or shape spaces in ways that align with their values and capacity. This may include professionals, small business owners, community leaders, advocates, carers, or people stepping into leadership roles for the first time.
Together we explore sustainable leadership practices, decision making, boundaries, communication, and navigating systems while staying connected to your wellbeing. We will break down issues that occur in the workplace, as well as issues that influence your ability and capacity in the workplace. The focus is on developing leadership that honours your brain, your body, and your lived experience.
This support is trauma-informed, neuro-affirming, accessible, and gender and sexuality affirming, grounded in both professional knowledge and lived experience.
